]]> We are delighted to announce that our Guidance Counsellor, Aoife McArdle, will be hosting a Guidance Webinar Series every week. These webinars will be held every Wednesday at 4pm. They will include guest speakers from each specific industry, and different Higher and Further Education Institutions. Each week will be based around a different topic beginning with Where to Study Medicine – Ireland, UK & Europe.

]]> A group of our 4th year students visited the RDS yesterday to learn about the potential career opportunities that are available to women in the fields of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). The ‘’ conference, now in its seventh year, is an initiative to inspire and motivate young female students to pursue careers in STEM.

The event featured talks by keynote speakers who have built careers in the STEM industries followed by a brief panel discussion. The students then moved on to the I WISH Exhibition Area, to engage first-hand with STEM industry exhibitors and partners, such as Google, Carton Saloon, Dell and LinkedIn. We hope all students were inspired by this informative day out!

]]> We were delighted to welcome representatives from a range of national and international third-level colleges to the Raymond Kearns Hall, to speak to students about 3rd level courses, admission requirements and college life. Universities such as UCD, Trinity, DCU, TUD and Maynooth University were among the 23 colleges that attended the evening.

Students also attended talks by industry experts on careers from Biotechnology to Music, from Computer Science to Aviation.

A big thanks to our career guidance team for all their hard work in organising such a wonderful and informative event!
