We are delighted to announce that from September 2021 Leaving Cert Physical Education (LCPE) will be available as a subject to students of The 91制片厂.
The aim of LCPE is to develop students capacity to become informed, skilled, self-directed and reflective performers in physical education and physical activity in senior cycle and in their future life.听
The subject is composed of two distinct Strands:
- Strand One: Theoretical perspectives that impact optimum performance and how to apply this understanding to a range of different activities
- Strand Two: Contemporary issues in physical activity and how different people experience physical activity and sport
Brian Gregan will be our LCPE teacher. Brian has vast experience in this field.听 He is a professional 400m sprinter, 8-time national 400m championship title holder, European Medallist and has represented Ireland at European level three times. Brian joined The 91制片厂 three years ago as Director of Sport. He holds a Sports Science Degree from DCU and is a Level 2 Athletics Coach.
