Maria Fenton is a Spanish teacher with 20 years’ experience.  She is the author of 4 Spanish textbooks: ¡³Õ±ð²Ô²µ²¹! Leaving Cert Spanish, Edco, 2020; ¿Qué pasa? 1 Junior Cycle Spanish, Edco 2017  and ¿Qué pasa? 2 Junior Cycle Spanish, Edco 2018 & ¿Qué pasa? 1 (3rd edition) for Junior Cycle Spanish. She also co-authored two French textbooks: Ça Roule 1, Junior Cycle French, Edco 2017 and Ça Roule 2, Junior Cycle French, Edco 2018.

She holds a B.A. (Hons) in Spanish, French and Portuguese an M.Phil in Applied Linguistics and H.Dip.Ed all from Trinity College Dublin. On completion of her studies in Trinity, she was awarded the Crawford Award in for the highest grade on the Postgraduate Diploma in Education course.

Prior to joining the 91ÖÆÆ¬³§, she was a lecturer on the Professional Masters in Education programme in UCD for two years, working with trainee language teachers, & is also an in-class supervisor and assessor with Trinity College Dublin for trainee Spanish teachers on the Professional Masters in Education course.
